We're dipping our toes in the water of our May-steries month. The first movie is Morning Show Mysteries: Mortal Mishaps, starring Holly Robinson Peete as Billie Blessings and Rick Fox as Detective Ian Jackson. When a producer dies on the show Billie has a cooking segment on, she is suspected of the crime. Detective Jackson is investigating the case and just happens to be Billie's high school sweetheart. In this episode there are zero dry kisses but lots of speculation on how to sext with a carrier pigeon, how finding R.I.P in your wine fridge may stand for Rose, Ice Wine and Pinot and the many religious dishes they should serve at Blessings restaurant. We have to inject the love anywhere we can in this movie but there are plenty of Scooby Doo moments on Morning Show Mysteries: Mortal Mishaps. Episode drops May 3rd.
